INTRODUCTION 

Asian Cricket Council announced the schedule for the Asia Cup. In 2020, when a pandemic hit the world, causing significant delays to this tournament, which has now been played 2 years later. 

After years of the pandemic, the Asia Cup is set for 2022 and with that, COVID is not a huge threat anymore. This tournament has been played since 1984. The final was held in an ODI format in the United Arab Emirates. And surprisingly, the 2022 matches are also being played in Dubai.

THE OFFICIAL SCHEDULE FOR ASIA CUP 2022 

Pakistan was supposed to host the Asia Cup in 2020, but political tensions and an outbreak in Covid prevented that from happening. The teams are all set and started the game at this year’s Asia Cup in Dubai. Here’s the schedule.

• August 28: India vs Pakistan in Dubai

A Look At The Format Of Asia Cup 2022  

• As the Asia Cup round of qualifiers concluded, the tournament provided a new opportunity to six Asian countries. QUALIFIERS OF ASIA CUP 2022 

• The 2022 edition of the Asia Cup started from August 27 to September 11, with six teams head-to-head to see which team was crowned champions of Asia. 

• There will be a Group Stage to determine which teams will advance to the next round. This Group is known as the "Group of Death" because any team has a chance to advance to the next round. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage. 

• Asia Cup 2022 will see the four qualified teams face one another and everyone is eager to see who comes out on top. The future matches will be exciting since it has the momentum of announcing the final teams to win the match. And the finals will be conducted on September 11.

India
