Dubai Visits Visa Online Application Form
Andorra doesn't have its own airport, and Andorra citizens don't need to visit an embassy or apply for anything before flying to Dubai. If you're planning a trip and looking up the Dubai visa for Andorra citizens, here's what's actually true for your passport — not a rewritten version of rules meant for a different country.
Quick facts for Andorra passport holders- Visa: free 30-day visa on arrival at Dubai International Airport
- Nearest airport to Andorra: Barcelona–El Prat (~200 km) or Toulouse–Blagnac (~165 km)
- UAE embassy for Andorra: Madrid, Spain (non-resident ambassador)
- Currency: Euro (Andorra) → UAE Dirham/AED (Dubai)
Do Andorra Citizens Need a Visa for Dubai?
No advance application is required. Andorra appears on the UAE's list of countries eligible for visa free and visa on arrival entry, so when you land at Dubai International Airport, immigration stamps a 30-day visit visa into your passport at no charge. It's the same UAE visa on arrival for Andorra citizens policy that's been in place for years — nothing to submit, and nothing to pay, before you fly.
What you'll want ready at the immigration desk:
- A passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date
- A confirmed return or onward flight ticket
- Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host address), if asked
- A scan of your passport's external cover page, if you apply for a visa in advance instead — mandatory UAE-wide since 19 September 2025
Landing with a visa already confirmed can still be worth it — some airlines ask to see an approved visa before issuing a boarding pass, since check-in staff abroad don't always recognise that Andorra qualifies for free entry. You can arrange this in advance through our Dubai express visa service instead of relying on the airport stamp.
Travel From Andorra to Dubai
Since Andorra has no airport, travel from Andorra to Dubai always starts with a trip across the border. Barcelona–El Prat is around 200 km away (roughly 2.5–3 hours by car or coach), and Toulouse–Blagnac is closer at around 165 km (about 1.5–2 hours). AndBus runs direct coaches from both airports straight to Andorra's central bus station several times a day, so renting a car isn't necessary.
Barcelona is the better pick if you want to avoid a layover: Emirates flies BCN–DXB nonstop every day, in around 6.5 hours. Flying out of Toulouse instead usually means connecting through Paris, Madrid, or a Gulf hub. Once you land, our Dubai airport guide covers what happens after you clear immigration.
Currency, Costs and the Best Time to Go
Andorra uses the euro; Dubai runs on the UAE dirham (AED), which has been pegged to the US dollar for decades, so it moves against the euro along with the EUR/USD rate rather than on its own. Cards are accepted almost everywhere in Dubai and ATMs are easy to find, so there's little reason to carry large amounts of cash — our guide to currency in Dubai has more detail on exchanging and spending.
If winter at home means snow on Andorra's own ski slopes, Dubai's October-to-April season will feel like a different climate entirely — warm, dry, and far more comfortable than the heat and humidity of July through September.
UAE Embassy Support for Andorra Residents
Andorra doesn't have a resident UAE embassy — there isn't enough day-to-day diplomatic traffic between a country of roughly 80,000 people and the UAE to justify one. Instead, relations are handled by a non-resident ambassador based at the UAE Embassy in Madrid:
- Address: Hernández de Tejada St 7, Ciudad Lineal, 28027 Madrid, Spain
- Phone: +34 91 570 1001
- Email: MadridEMB@mofa.gov.ae
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (consular document submission usually closes around midday)
Because your visit visa is stamped on arrival at no cost, you won't need to contact the embassy before you travel. It matters more for document attestation or longer-stay visa categories than for a standard visit.
Applying for Longer Stays and Checking Your Status
Most Andorra travellers only need help with the parts that aren't automatic. If 30 days on arrival isn't enough for your plans, our guide on how to apply for a Dubai visit visa from Andorra covers the other visa categories worth considering, including longer and multi-entry options.
